THE OUTCOME IS PEACE OF MIND

The outcome for both you and your client is peace of mind

For you – a team of developers are looking at the maintenance of your client’s sites, allowing you to focus your time on your core development work.

You’ll gain a valuable recurring passive income stream to flatten the feast and famine cycle.

For your client – they have a team of developers working under your brand to keep their site and running, they don’t need to worry about updates, security, crashes or any of the other ongoing support tasks a WordPress site needs.

REPORTING

Each week we’ll send you and your client a detailed report of all work done.

The point of this is to keep you client in the loop and for them to see the value they are getting from the maintenance and keep their subscription to your maintenance plan running.

We’ll style the report to meet your brand using your colours  your logo etc, and the report will come from [email protected].

Any questions your client’s have about report will come to our helpdesk and we’ll field questions about it on your behalf.

Here’s a sample of a report.

MONITORING

We’ll monitor your sites for uptime and security issues.

Uptime – we have monitors in place to check your site for uptime, if it goes down and automated alert will be raised and sent to our helpdesk.  We’ll react to those alerts and get your site back online as soon as we can

We will ping your site to check for return codes and also look for content that should be in place, just in case your site is up but it is throwing errors.

Security – We have automated monitors to check for security vulnerabilities in your code, if one is spotted we’ll raise a ticket and close the loophole.

We’ll instal Wordfence to monitor for hack attempts and file changes, again this will automatically raise a ticket for us to fix.

UPDATES

We’ll take care of all the updates your client’s sites will need.

WordPress core – when a new version of WordPress is released we’ll apply that update

Plugins – we’ll update the plugins on your sites as updates are released.

Themes – we’ll apply fixed to themes as the developer releases them, if there is no child theme we’ll add that when we onboard the client.

PHP & MYSQL – grant us access to hosting and we’ll make sure php and mysql are at the correct level for your clients.

We ensure there is a full backup before any updates are applied.

We have techniques to spot errors if an update breaks the site so we can roll the update back and then we’ll raise a ticket to fix the update issue.

BACKUPS

We’ll take daily full backups of your client’s sites.  We backup both the database and the file system so we have a complete backup of the site.

We’ll store those backups offsite in secure cloud storage, so we always have an archive we can recover from.

We’ll keep 90 days worth or backups so we have a point in time we can restore to.

We check backups each day and if a backup fails our team will perform a manual backup.

Lastly if you need to when there is an error we’ll restore those backups on your behalf.

Fix On Fail

Fix on fail is a term we’ve brought over from corporate IT,  in this context it means to fix any errors on a WordPress site as they arise.

Fix on fail comes in a number of formats, issues we spot, issues you spot and issues your client spot.

We’ll monitor your sites and proactively look for issues.  If we find a problem we’ll raise an exception ticket in our help desk, detailing what we have spotted and how we plan to fix it.

We’ll solve the problem and update you and your end client.

The same help desk can be used to report issues from yourself or your end clients, we’ll setup a forwarded for an email address such as [email protected] where you can your clients can send support requests.

Anyone in the loop can request unlimited support by sending requests to [email protected].
